ECONOPACKER
Semi-Automatic horizontal case-packer
The
Econopacker provides a lower cost, first step to automating the case packing
process and reducing labor. Typical uses include case packing of all types of
multi-packed cartoned, canned, and bagged products. The ergonomically friendly
machine controls the flow and grouping of product automatically, eliminating
miscounts due to human error.
Method of Operation
Product enters the collating area at random via the infeed belt conveyor and it
is stacked into the appropriate pack pattern.
The operator simply places a case into position by placing an open end over the
automatic loading funnel.
The remainder of the operation is automatic including product loading and
lowering of the loaded case onto a discharge roller conveyor to then pass
through a commercially available top and bottom case taper or gluer (not
included).
